His father, my cousin, reveals that his youngest son is absolutely fascinated with the Chinese Lion Dance, aka Wu Shi. When he was driving on the street once and a lorry with the lion dance troupe on board was seen and heard in the distance (for the performers always beat their gongs and drums whilst travelling onboard), his overly excited son would cry and throw tantrums if he did not follow the vehicle.
Because of QW's fascination and love of the lion dance, his daddy bought him a mini lion dance head (those type with a thin piece of cloth that extends from lion head's back) and toy drum for him to play around with. Needless to say, my relatives were adamant that QW make a performance with the lion dance head when we visited his grandfather's place. He was clearly delighted at the prospect, for he took out the lion head in no time and was flashing a grin that makes you want to hug and kiss him. However, he was rather shy and did not immediately take to mimicking his favourite activity, as though the presence of so many people suddenly dawned on him.
